Lots of research has been carried out about his thoughts on theology and politics. It is said that he can bridge the dialogue between Muslim and the western civilization. His study and influence on Western political thought has been examined in this article. Averroes was in favor of religion’s role in politics. He was very fond of Rashidon Caliphate. He has given a list of required attributes of a ruler for good governance. He seems to be interested in democratic values. He talked about rights, social justice and equality in society. He was of the opinion that politics and faith have links. He did not favor sectarianism. He argued his comment through the interpretations of the Divine attributes, God Almighty’s knowledge, the hereafter life, in his theological thoughts. This article comes up with a comparison between Him and western theological and political thoughts. The Western theology is weak and hence it faced the challenge of atheism, while the Muslim scholarship especially Averroes has guided the West in the dark age and helped it in making new thoughts. This research suggests the theological and political thoughts of averroes vital for the today’s Muslim society.
2024-12-29T02:55:54+05:00 Dr. Muzaffar Ali drmuzaffarpalal@live.com Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Hameed Hammad abdelrahmanhammad.322@azhar.edu.eg
Arnold Joseph Toynbee (d. 1975), influenced by Ibn Khaldun, is highly regarded among contemporary Muslim scholars. It surpasses all forms of human expression, demonstrating a profound depth that leaves an impartial observer in awe. This sacred text not only proclaims the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH) but also inspires advancements in modern science.
An unbiased individual, free from stagnation and undue influence of modern scientific dogmas, discovers astonishing truths upon studying the Quran. Despite being revealed over 1400 years ago to an unlettered Prophet in the isolated and culturally limited Arabian Peninsula, the Quran contains references to numerous scientific phenomena. These encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, including history, geography, physics, astronomy, celestial bodies, biology, medicine, human sensory perception, and the intricate formation of the human body.
What sets the Quran apart is that none of its statements about these fields contradict modern scientific discoveries. On the contrary, many facts mentioned in the Quran have been validated by contemporary science, while others continue to inspire further exploration. The Quran’s compatibility with scientific truth serves as a testament to its divine origin and offers humanity a guide for intellectual and spiritual growth.
In essence, the Quran not only provides moral and spiritual guidance but also challenges humanity to engage in intellectual pursuits and scientific exploration, bridging the gap between faith and reason. It stands as an eternal beacon for those who seek knowledge, encouraging them to unravel the mysteries of the universe while remaining grounded in the divine wisdom it offers.

Keywords: Divine Wisdom, Scientific Truth, Faith and Reason, Contemporary Science, Intellectual Exploration
2024-12-31T00:00:00+05:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Al Basirah http://albasirah.numl.edu.pk/index.php/alb/article/view/253 Staff Training and Islamic Banks Performance: Evidence from Pakistan 2025-01-07T04:29:46+05:00 Dr Zubair Ahmed Naseem rni4bl@gmail.com Dr Muhammad Azam muhammad.azam@jinnah.edu
Islamic banking is experiencing an extraordinary growth rate.
