This research explores the intricate relationship between Pakistani youth and digital media in shaping contemporary socio-political and ideological narratives. It examines how digital platforms have evolved into dynamic arenas of meaning production, influencing young people's perceptions, identities, and collective consciousness. Through a descriptive and analytical methodology, the study investigates the dual nature of digital influence, its potential to foster awareness, creativity, and civic engagement, alongside the risks of misinformation, polarization, and cultural disorientation. Drawing upon theoretical frameworks such as Cultivation Theory, Agenda Setting Theory, and Social Learning Theory, the paper situates digital narrative formation within Pakistan’s socio-cultural context. It analyzes the prevalence of dominant political, religious, gender, and national discourses circulating online, highlighting their psychological and ideological impact on youth. Furthermore, the research critically evaluates the phenomenon of narrative engineering by both state and non-state actors, as well as the transnational influence of globalization, digital colonialism, and soft power. In response to these challenges, the study proposes a framework for constructing positive counter-narratives grounded in Islamic ethics, national identity, and moral communication. It underscores the pivotal role of educational institutions, media organizations, religious scholars, and civil society in promoting digital literacy, critical thinking, and digital ethics. Ultimately, the paper argues that empowering Pakistani youth to create balanced, knowledge-based narratives is essential for intellectual resilience and national cohesion in the digital age.
